I am deeply grateful to Chuck Mangione and Johnny Mandel for their heartfelt endorsements of my first book, “Arranging In The Digital World” (Berklee Press)
“Corey Allen is a highly regarded composer, arranger, and pianist, and brings all of his professional know-how to his new book. It shows how to achieve musical and orchestrally realistic results. It’s written with great clarity and [is] easily understood.”
Johnny Mandel
“A Godsend! This book has given me the opportunity to start with no prior knowledge, to study with a teacher I respect, and learn at my own speed. It’s given me the ABCs to understand technical terms that always baffled me. I’m looking forward to using this book to simplify my composing/orchestrating process and open the way to new creative possibilities. ”

Recently, UNPHU Music and FAMA Studios joined forces to offer UNPHU Music students the opportunity to work in a world-class recording facility mentored by outstanding musicians, engineers, and producers. Students audition and are chosen based on merit. They compose/arrange, rehearse, perform and prepare their music (and themselves) for an audio and video recording.
